We conducted an in-depth review of the operating procedures within the Front Office and Reservations departments with the purpose to evaluate the potential for improvements and efficiencies that can positively influence team cohesion and morale, enhance overall business operations and revenue, elevate guest satisfaction, and establish a solid foundation for an exceptionally successful peak season.

Process Improvement
This hotel is the sister hotel to The Vineyard, based in Stellenbosch. After conducting the same
review process here, I spent 2 additional months implementing some of the recommendations I
made in the report. It was through these practices that the hotel has been running in the 95%
occupancy levels ever since, while increasing their profitability by an additional 25%
month-on-month.
Business Operations

After consulting as their in-house recruiter for 3 months, this company became our full-time client for an additional period of 3 months. During this time, we were based on-site in their offices in Sea Point, where we spent time building out processes and policies relating to HR and Recruitment, such as onboarding plans and probation review processes as well as assisting them set up tools such as SimplePay, their Employee Handbook, changing from one Property Management System (Hostfully) to another (Hostaway) as well as researching and implementing an Operations Tool (Boom Estech).
We helped hire and onboard 6 people and became the “buffer” between staff and Exco.
During the 3 month period, we built up a positive team culture where psychological safety became a strong focus.
UX Testing & Training Manuals
Consulting as a UX Tester on a project basis by reviewing and advising on the ongoing development on 2 of their Cloud based systems. We have also been tasked with creating training videos and help documentation to assist with the company's go-to-market strategy.
